LAS VEGAS, April 29—ATEN Technology, Inc., an innovator of high-quality KVM (keyboard/video/mouse) and remote connectivity products to centrally manage servers, network devices and IT infrastructure, today announced here at Interop Las Vegas 2008 new Matrix CAT5 KVM switches. The new KH2508 and KH2516 are two-console, eight and 16-port CAT5 KVM switches that feature multi-user support.
“We are pleased to launch these new KVM switches that offer multi-user support,” said Sampson Yang, CEO, ATEN Technology, Inc. “By connecting to our CN8000, the new KH2508 and KH2516 are future-ready for organizations that want to utilize remote management. Given the multi-platform support, high video resolution and convenient CAT5 cable connectivity, the KH2508 and KH2516 feature powerful, yet highly affordable technology.”
Through three-level cascading, the KH2508 and KH2516 can expand capacity to control up to a maximum of 512 or 4,096 computers. To add remote management functionality to the KH2508 and KH2516, users can connect these KVMs to ATEN’s newly launched CN8000 IP access control unit.
