Cisco Systems Launches Collaborative Partner Network

Cisco Systems Inc. recently announced the launch of a new program, the Industry Solutions Partner Network, aimed at building a collaborative, adaptive channel to help partners grow and differentiate their businesses, develop strategic relationships with customers, better understand their businesses, and increase profits. 

“We are entering the second phase of the Internet, and this will create unprecedented growth opportunities over the next decade for our channel partners and customers,” says Keith Goodwin, senior vice president of Worldwide Channels at Cisco Systems. “Companies and governments are looking to deploy industry solutions to increase collaboration and productivity, while partners are looking to deliver industry solutions to increase transaction size and gross margins,” he says. 

Benefits of the Industry Solutions Partner Network include industry training and expertise, industry- specific communications such as case studies and industry white papers, tools based on Web 2.0 technology, collaborative business planning, and co-funding for marketing campaigns.
